Kensington Preschool was founded through a visionary collaboration between a team of accomplished early childhood professionals from Singapore and distinguished education professors from China.
Together, they crafted a world-class bilingual programme that seamlessly integrates Eastern cultural heritage with internationally recognized best practices in early learning.
Grounded in deep pedagogical expertise and cultural understanding, this collaboration led to the development of the K.I.N.D. framework, an inquiry-led, values-rich approach that nurtures confident communicators, curious thinkers, and compassionate individuals ready to thrive in a changing world. A key highlight of Kensington’s strong bilingual foundation is our Chinese curriculum, co-developed with the renowned Wonderland Education Group and Professor Qian from Beijing Normal University, one of China’s top early childhood education experts.
For over a decade, this proven curriculum has been successfully implemented across 28 centres in China, nurturing thousands of confident bilingual learners. Thoughtfully adapted for Singapore’s cultural and linguistic context, our Chinese programme ensures that by the time our children graduate, their vocabulary and general Chinese language abilities are expected to bridge smoothly into Primary 2 or 3 Chinese Language standards, giving every child the strongest start on their lifelong learning journey.
